Returned across two summer seasons to help lead front-of-house operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Welcoming and providing informational support for cruise ship tourists.
I designed and developed an internal operations system to automate daily workflows and solve inefficiencies in field reporting and documentation management. The solution includes a Telegram based interface for real-time data input, a centralized database, and a live dashboard used by management to monitor employees, clients, and active job sites. I also integrated AI capabilities through the Claude API to enable advanced querying, reporting, and support for generating documentation required for public administration processes, including compliance declarations and safety plans. The project significantly improved operational visibility, reduced manual workload, and streamlined internal processes.
As part of the Innovation Management course, I collaborated with Riso Scotti and ITIR to reimagine new strategic opportunities for the brand: repositioning it not just as a rice ingredient but as a full brand concept balancing creativity, credibility, and market potential.
Within the Univenture initiative — a collaboration between the University of Pavia, MIBE, and the Municipality of Pavia — I worked with Nanocapsule, a pharma startup in advanced drug delivery, to revitalise their business strategy through business model evaluation, competitor analysis, USP redefinition, and 5-year financial projections.
Even though Gabriele was with us for a short time, he made it count. His approach to work was proactive and sharp, and he picked up things incredibly fast. What stood out the most was his ability to adapt, take initiative, and bring fresh energy to the team. He integrated naturally, asked the right questions, and always had a practical mindset. Time may have been short, but the impact wasn't. Good luck Gabri!
You know what they say: 'Ogni scarrafone è bello a mamma soja!' — and, well, I can't deny it. Gabriele has always been full of curiosity, finding creative ways to do things his own way — sometimes for the better, sometimes… let's say, less so. But one thing's for sure: he never backs down from a challenge and puts his heart into what he does. And yes, I might be biased, but that doesn't make it any less true.
Working with Gabriele during our university projects was the perfect mix of efficiency and fun. He's the one who keeps things moving, finds solutions when everyone else is stuck, and somehow manages to keep the mood light even under deadline pressure. Reliable, quick-thinking, and always up for a challenge, whether it's cracking a tough problem or making sure we don't lose our sanity during all nighters. 🍻
